The Warhorse Youth Football Midget team delivered a super season with a 40-22 victory over Rosman on Oct. 29.

The win kept intact a perfect season for the Warhorses, who will face Enka in the WNC Youth Football and Cheer league’s Super Bowl, set for 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 at Asheville High School.

The Warhorses and Tigers played at West Henderson High School to determine the league’s East Division champion. The last time the teams met was in the first week of the season, when the Warhorses won 20-12, their smallest margin of victory this season.

The Warhorses improved to 11-0 on the season after winning just one game in 2015.

The Midget division Super Bowl is the third game scheduled on Sunday at Asheville High School, following the Termite and Mite championship games, scheduled for 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.

Gates open at noon and admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students.
