Owen basketball heads back home

The Owen Warhorses and Warlassies were on the road through the end of November, into the early days of December.

The Warlassies dropped their game against Enka on Nov. 23 but bounced back with another dominating performance over Chase, 65-35.

They wrapped up their three-game road trip against East Henderson on Dec. 2.

The Warhorses routed the Jets, 72-49, in the first of their three straight games on the road.

They lost to Chase 59-54 in Forest City after defeating the Trojans soundly at home earlier in the season.

Owen basketball returns to the Swannanoa Valley on Friday, Dec. 4, when the Warhorses and Warlassies host West Henderson.

The junior varsity girls team start things off at 4 p.m. with the JV boys, varsity girls and varsity boys following in order.
