Endorses Nelson in Democratic commish primary
Early voting has started and elections will be held March 15. The Democratic Party has fielded four strong candidates in the primary race for Buncombe County Commissioner in District 2. I am writing in support of Nancy Nehls Nelson. Nancy is an energetic, enthusiastic and articulate speaker, well versed in the problems which are facing the county at both the local and state level.
She has worked on land use issues and protecting the environment in Buncombe County, while at the same time accommodating the needs of a growing population. Nancy’s committed full-time dedication to working on the problems of affordable housing, good schools and transportation combined with her work skills as a former project manager for AT&T Bell Labs make her well qualified to represent the citizens of District 2 and Buncombe County. Please add your vote to mine for Nancy Nehls Nelson.

Nelson picks up
two more supporters
We are really fortunate there are four good candidates for Buncombe County Commissioner District 2 in the Democratic primary. After researching all, Nancy Nehls Nelson will be the best to get in and start working (full time) right away.
She is focused, balanced, and listens before doing. Nelson is committed to education, jobs, health, public safety, and smart land use. In short, she not only wants to continue the many good things we have, but also to make Buncombe even better (if you haven’t seen it, go to her website and watch/listen to her campaign song “The Red Pick Up Truck”).
We whole heartily support and encourage other to support and vote for Nancy Nehls Nelson for Buncombe County Commissioner District 2.
