You don't have to stand to US anthem in Yemen

To see the students at Warren Wilson kneel during our National Anthem is pitifully (BMN Oct. 6). Yes, they attend one of the most liberal colleges, but as a veteran myself, maybe they need to attend school in Yemen or Saudi Arabia and see how they are treated.

If you don't like our country, you are free to leave. As for me, I will be a proud property owner forever in Black Mountain - it will be a plot in our Western Carolina Veterans Cemetery alongside my mom, dad and all those other veterans heroes. None of us ever knelt.
