Heather Foster, 31, of Swannanoa, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2019.
Miss Heather Foster was born June 1, 1987 in Buncombe County where she lived all her life. Heather was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and aunt. She loved all of her family and was loved by all who knew her. She was a fun loving and selfless person who was always there for her family. She loved her church, and above all, she loved God. Heather was a member of Burgin’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and was employed with CVS Pharmacy in Swannanoa.
Heather is preceded in death by her papaw, Eugene DeHart; paternal grandparents, William and Nina Foster; sister, Melissa Foster; aunt, Ann Reynolds; and niece, Tessia Plemmons.
Heather is survived by her parents, Robert Edward Foster and Donna Jean Foster of Swannanoa; mamaw, Edith DeHart, sisters, Katlyn Foster Moss (Jeffrey) of Marion, Desiree Foster of Swannanoa and Melanie Foster of Leicester; brothers, Brian Foster (Savannah) of Swannanoa and Robbie Foster (Dana) of Candler; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family received friends May 24, at Harwood Home for Funerals.
A celebration of life service was held May 25, at Burgin’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Furman Dills officiated the service. Burial was in Sky View Memorial Park.
At other times, the family will be at the home of Edith DeHart, 28 DeHart Avenue, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone for the prayers, support, flowers, gifts and food provided to them.
