Mary “Kathern” Arrowood

Rutherford County

Mary “Kathern” Arrowood, 81, of Rutherford County, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2018.

  Kathern was born December 5, 1936 to the late Floyd and Annie Sue Hendrix. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and she retired from Master Craft after 40 years of service. Kathern was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arrowood; son, Billy Bradley; sister, Martha Blackwell; and brother, Robert Hendrix.

  Kathern is survived by her children, Johnny Bradley, Ronnie Bradley, Dennis Bradley, Donald Bradley, Ann Mitchem and Tammy Whitmire; step-son, Johnny Arrowood; sisters, Diane Bradley and Brenda Black; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

  The family received friends Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Harwood Home for Funerals with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Burial was at 12 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
