Republican National Committee leader to address meeting
Chad Connelly, the former S.C. Republican Party chairman who is now faith engagement director for the Republican National Committee, will lead an informal seminar for religious leaders, deacons, officers, vestry and others of any faith at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1 at The Eye Scream Parlour in Swannanoa.
Promoting dynamic participation by religious leaders across the country, Connelly not only encourages them to speak out on national and local issues they consider important but also shows people how to legally involve congregations to actively support principles Connelly maintains made America great and secure.
Handouts on resources from original sources, instead of news clips, will be available, as will political involvement guidelines for religious institutions. Voter registration forms and other voting information will also be available, including contacts for paying jobs and volunteer jobs for the March 15 primary and early voting March 3-12.
Sponsored by Conservatives in Action, a local group of Democrat, Independent, and Republican friends distressed about the county and nation’s direction, this informal event will be at The Eye Scream Parlour, 2064 U.S. 70. The restaurant’s menu will be available for dinner. While not required, reservations made at ConservativesInActionNC@gmail.com will help ensure enough seating and food.
