Get dancing at Lakeview Center bash

If you have never line-danced but have always wanted to see what the buzz is about, here's your opportunity. The Lakeview Center in Black Mountain is putting on a holiday line dance party from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the center, 401 Laurel Circle Drive.

No experience or partner is necessary for this annual holiday party hosted by the center and instructor Cindy Hady. In keeping with the holiday spirit, proceeds from the $5 admission will benefit Lakeview Center programs.

The annual Circle of Lights will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at Lake Tomahawk Park, 401 Laurel Circle Drive. Everything is free, including hot dogs, hot beverages and snacks. Santa will be here. The Circle of Lights is after the Black Mountain Christmas Parade.

The Southeastern Newfoundland Club participating in the parade will be at the Circle of Lights. You can have your photo taken with one of these adorable dogs - and Santa Claus! A donation to the Newfoundland Rescue group will be appreciated.
