Black Mountain Police Department and Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department reported these incidents from June 18-24 and arrests from June 20-26:

Incidents

June 18

Larceny was reported on the 3200 block of North Fork Left Fork Road. Cash totaling $70 and other items valued at $150 were reported stolen.

June 19

Felony drug offense was reported at a business on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. An air soft pistol, glass pipe and small baggies associated with the incident were recovered.

Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported on the 600 block of West State Street. A glass door sustained $100 in damage.

June 20

Felony breaking or entering was reported on the 200 block of Jordan Road. A lawn mower valued at $1,200 and a tool box valued at $500 were reported stolen.

June 21

Second-degree trespassing was reported on the 2700 block of U.S. 70.

Burglary-non-forced entry and larceny were reported on the 100 block of Cragmont Road. A blank check, cane and set of copper keys with a total value of $9 were reported stolen.

June 23

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at a business on WNC Shopping Center Drive. A purse valued at $10, a driver’s license valued at $10, and debit cards were reported stolen.

Arrests

June 19

Dwight Anthony Shelton, 36, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 2300 block of U.S. 70 and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

June 20

Jeffrey Allen Wright, 37, of Leicester, was arrested on the 2200 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distributed heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Angela Dawn Thomas, 41, of Candler, was arrested on the 200 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Daniel Erspamer, 31, of Asheville, was arrested on the 2200 block of U.S. 70 and charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin.

June 21

Barry Vincent Oberosler, 51, of Asheville, was arrested on the 2700 block of U.S. 70 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

June 23

James Edward Brown, 39, of Marion, was arrested on the 2400 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession of less than half of an ounce of marijuana.

June 24

Rachel Marie Peek, 24, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 300 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

Fairest Cristina Grant, 25, of Asheville, was arrested on the 300 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

Alexandra Elizabeth Hyatt, 26, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 300 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeremy Charles McHone, 29, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 300 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Misty Stewart Hamlin, 37, of Asheville, was arrested on the first block of Creole Court and charged with possession of Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Haley Elizabeth Lambert, 24, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the first block of Creole Court and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aaron Colby Banks, 27, of Barnardsville, was arrested on the first block of Creole Court and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distributed a Schedule II controlled substance.
