Incidents and arrests in the Swannanoa Valley

Black Mountain Police Department and Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department reported these incidents from May 14-20:

May 15

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Mountain Crest Road. An automobile valued at $6,000 was reported stolen.

May 16

Damage to personal property was reported on the first block of Rock Mason Road. A mailbox sustained $25 in damage.

Injury to real property was reported on the first block of Village Parkway.

Vandalism was reported on the 100 block of Franklin Road. A tractor sustained $10,000 in damage.

May 17

Burglary - non-forced entry was reported on the 200 block of Avena Road.

Larceny was reported on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. Lumber valued at $25 was reported stolen.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 400 block of South Laurel Circle.

Breaking and/or entering was reported on the 200 block of Wilson Avenue.
