Valley Rewind: Historical home on what is now West State Street

This photograph from the Swannanoa Valley Museum and History Center’s archives shows the home of Dr. Landis and Mrs. Landis, situated on what is now West State Street in Black Mountain. This house stood across from the Black Mountain Firehouse (now the Swannanoa Valley Museum) approximately where Harwood Funeral Homes is today.
