Valley Rewind: Swannanoa Union Store

This photo from the Swannanoa Valley Museum and History Center’s extensive photograph collections shows one of the general provision stores in early Swannanoa: the Swannanoa Union Store, which sold groceries, feed and fertilizer. Coca-Cola became one of the first corporate sponsors in the area by providing signs to country stores like this one.
