Valley Rewind: Beacon Manufacturing

This 1939 photograph shows employees of Beacon Manufacturing getting ready to enjoy a tremendous Christmas dinner in the spinning, filling and warps area of the plant. Beginning in 1939, employees at the Swannanoa-based plant gathered to feast at a company-wide potluck and pose for group photos.
