Owen boys soccer lost to Lincoln Charter in the second round of the playoffs on Nov. 4 on Owen's home turf.

The Owen boys soccer season ended Nov. 4 after a 6-4 loss at home to Lincoln Charter in the second round of the playoffs.

"Our team was focused, our team was ready," said coach David Fiest. "We were tactically sound and we were able to put in four goals against a very, very, very good team."

The Warhorses ended the season with an overall record of 17-3, including an undefeated 10-0 conference run.

Freshman Davis Kendall scored a hat trick with attacking midfielder Nino Luther scoring the team's fourth goal. Fiest said Lincoln was a difficult team to face and even could've been seeded higher in the league.

"We've had a lot of really, really good teams," Fiest said, in reference to this season's Warhorses. "This being one of the best teams, it's a bit of a shock to end in the second round."
