The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

An animal bite was reported Oct. 31 on the 100 block of Marker Pine Lane. 

Drug equipment violations; driving with license revoked; driving with a fictitious tag; driving without insurance and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer were reported Oct. 31 on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 65. 

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported Oct. 31 on the first block of Sigma Lane. 

Simple assault was reported Oct. 31 on the 200 block of Mountain Allen Heights. 

Disorderly conduct was reported Oct. 31 on N.C. 9. 

Driving under the influence and speeding were reported Nov. 1 on Rhododendron Avenue. 

Driving under the influence, failure to maintain a lane, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and drug equipment violations were reported Nov. 2 on the 2600 block of U.S. 70. 

Driving under the influence, driving after consuming alcohol under the age of 21 and speeding were reported Nov. 2 at the intersection of U.S. 70 and West College Street. 

An animal bite was reported Nov. 2 on the 100 block of Cragmont Road. 

Driving while impaired was reported Nov. 2 on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. 

Driving while impaired was reported Nov. 2 on the first block of Patton Cove Road.

Warrant service for offenses committed in another jurisdiction, trespassing of real property and drug violations were reported Nov. 3 on the first block Alpine Shadow Lane. 

Driving under the influence and an illegal left turn were reported Nov. 3 on West State Street. 

A felony drug offense was reported Nov. 3 on I-40 westbound at mile marker 59. 

Driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane control were reported Nov. 3 on North Blue Ridge Road. 

Misdemeanor larceny was reported Nov. 4 on the first block of Alpine Shadow Lane. 

Larceny was reported Nov. 5 on the 400 block of Laurel Circle Drive. 

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported Nov. 5 on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Larceny was reported Nov. 5 on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Arrests 

Addison Lee Peek, 23, of Swannanoa, was arrested Oct. 27 on the 3000 block of U.S. 70 and charged with carrying a concealed weapons. 

Christopher William Genereux, 48, of Black Mountain, was arrested Oct. 28 on the 100 block of Church Street and charged with driving while impaired and possession of an open container in the passenger area of a vehicle. 

Andre Tremaine Montgomery, 37, of Black Mountain, was arrested Oct. 28 on the first block of Alpine Shadow Lane and charged with an expired registration card or tag, fleeing and eluding arrest and resisting a public officer. 

Rodney Clarence Richardson, Jr., 39, of Asheville, was arrested Oct. 31 at the intersection of N.C. 9 and Sutton Avenue and charged with being intoxicated and disruptive and resisting a public officer. 

Christie Kena Hurst, 35, of Green Mountain, was arrested Oct. 31 on I-40 at mile marker 65 and charged with operating a vehicle with no insurance, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Dallas Aaron Street, 32, of Burnsville, was arrested Oct. 31 on I-40 at mile marker 65 and charged with driving with license revoked — not impaired and driving with a fictitious or altered tag. 

Donald Anthony Moses, 57, of Asheville, was arrested Nov. 1 on the 100 block of Jims Branch Road and charged with assault on a female. 

Gregory Alan Byler, 57, of Black Mountain, was arrested Nov. 2 on the 300 block of Rhododendron Avenue and charged with driving while impaired and speeding. 

Jonathan Daniel Pack, 32, of Black Mountain, was arrested Nov. 3 on the 100 block of Chestnut Hill Road and charged with assault by strangulation. 

Robert Adam Reese, 38, of Asheville, was arrested Nov. 4 on the 100 block of Old Patton Cove Road and charged with assault on a female and injury to personal property. 

John Keith Tolley, 34, of Fairview, was arrested Nov. 4 on the first block of Sylvester Way and charged with breaking or entering and domestic criminal trespassing. 

Tarka Kantara Wilson, 37, of Swannanoa, was arrested Nov. 5 on the 100 block of Walnut Cove Road.
