Incidents

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 28, on the 100 block of Bright Hope Road. 

Larceny by an employee was reported on March 28, on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 28, on the 100 block of Cherry Laurel Lane. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 28, on the 100 block of Woodcreek Circle. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 28, on the 100 block of Cherry Laurel Lane. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 28, on the 100 block of Bright Hope Road.

Felony breaking or entering—with force was reported on March 29, on the 2200 block of U.S. 70. 

Driving under the influence was reported on March 30, on East State Street. 

An animal bite was reported on March 30, on the 200 block of Avena Road. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 31, on the 100 block of Bright Hope Road. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle on April 1, on the 200 block of Holland Drive. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the 100 block of Lake Eden Circle.

Warrant service for an offense committed in another jurisdiction was reported on April 1, on I-40 westbound at mile marker 62.5. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the first block of Woodlands Drive. 

Drug violations and drug equipment violations were reported on April 1, on I-40 westbound at mile marker 62.5. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the first block of Woodlands Drive. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the 200 block of Holland Drive. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the 100 block of Pearson Lane. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the 100 block of Pearson Lane. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 1, on the 200 block of Holland Drive. 

Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, drug equipment violations, driving with an open container and driving with an expired tag were reported on April 1, on Ninth Street. 

Driving under the influence, speeding, driving with an expired tag, driving with an open container and drug equipment violations were reported on April 1, at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Grove Stone Road. 

Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were reported on April 2, on the 600 block of West State Street. 

Simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance was reported on April 2, on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Larceny was reported on April 2, on the 200 block of Mountain Street. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on April 2, on the first block of Woodlands Drive.

Fraud was reported on April 2, on the 100 block of Dogwood Drive. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on April 2, on the first block of Woodlands Drive. 

Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury was reported on April 3, on the I-40 westbound. 

Felony breaking or entering—no force was reported on April 3, on the 100 block of Etain Lane. 

Larceny was reported on April 3, on the 1900 block of U.S. 70.

Simple assault by pointing a gun was reported on April 3, on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Felony breaking or entering—no force was reported on April 4, on the 200 block of Brim Lane. 

Arrests 

Tristen Avery Williams, 20, of Black Mountain, was arrested on March 23, at the intersection of Walker Cove Road and North Fork Road and charged with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and resisting a public officer.

Elliot Rainey Willocks, 35, of Fairview, was arrested on March 26, on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 64 and charged with driving while impaired and leaving the scene of a hit and run.
