The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Larceny was reported on March 21, on the 200 block of Westwood Avenue. 

Larceny was reported on March 21, on the 200 block of Tabernacle Road. 

Driving with license revoked and larceny were reported on March 21, on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 64. 

Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and a drug equipment violation were reported on March 22, on Rainbow Lane. 

Larceny was reported on March 22, on the 100 block of Bryant Road.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 22. 

Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and two warrants for offenses in other jurisdictions were reported on March 23, at the intersection of Cragmont and Byrd Roads. 

Larceny was reported on March 23, on the 600 block of Eighth Street. 

Speeding, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and driving with one headlight were reported on March 23, on Walker Cove Road. 

Trespassing was reported on March 23, on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. 

Misdemeanor larceny was reported on March 24, on the 400 block of East State Street. 

Felony drug offense was reported on March 24, on the 500 block of Bee Tree Road. 

An animal bite was reported on March 24, on the 300 block of Laurel Circle Drive. 

Motor vehicle theft was reported on March 25, on the 100 block of Dogwood Lane. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on March 25, at three different locations on the 100 block of Dogwood Lane. 

Warrant service for an offense in another jurisdiction was reported on March 26, on the 100 block of South Ridgeway Road. 

Driving under the influence and misdemeanor hit and run were reported on March 26, on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 64. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 26, on the 100 block of Lat Lane. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 26, on the 200 block of North Fork Right Fork Road. 

Simple assault was reported on March 27, on the 500 block of Tenth Street. 

Larceny was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of Broadway Street.

Shoplifting was reported on March 27, on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of Kent State. 

Theft from a building was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of North Ridgeway Avenue. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of Lazy Hollow Drive.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of Lazy Hollow Drive.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on March 27, on the 100 block of Old Cove Road. 

Arrests 

Mandi Renee Russell, 37, of Swannanoa, was arrested on March 16, on the 100 block of Center Drive and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Christoper Scott Waddell, 43, of Swannanoa, was arrested on March 16, on the 100 block of WNC Shopping Center Drive and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, larceny by an employee and child abuse—non-assaultive.

Joseph Alan Mosely, 37, of Black Mountain, was arrested on March 19, on the 600 block of West State Street and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a Schedule VI controlled substance; felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Joshua Alan Byrd, 36, of Newton, was arrested on March 21, on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 64 and charged with driving with license revoked—impaired and possession of stolen goods. 

Joshua Russell Ogle, 34, of Swannanoa, was arrested on March 22, on the first block of Charlotte Lane on a non-support warrant. 

Timothy Lee Feiock, 27, of Asheville, was arrested on March 23, on the 2300 block of U.S. 70 and charged with second degree trespassing. 

Timothy Wayne Kilpatrick, 55, of Swannanoa, was arrested on March 24, on the 500 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
