Feb. 28 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

A felony drug offense was reported on Feb. 14, on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. 

Larceny was reported on Feb. 14, on the 100 block of Everett Swafford Drive. 

Possession of a stolen vehicle was reported on Feb. 15, on the 100 block of Everett Swafford Drive. 

First degree burglary was reported on Feb. 15, on the 100 block of Rocky Creek Trail. 

An animal bite was reported on Feb. 15, on the 700 block of Warren Wilson Road. 

Felony breaking or entering — no force was reported on Feb. 19, on the 100 block of Jordan Road. 

Damage to real property was reported on Feb. 19, on the 100 block of Big Al Court.

Crime

Arrests 

Sherone Faye Lane, 38, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Feb. 9, on Tabernacle Road and charged with misdemeanor larceny and embezzlement. 

Buddy Lamar Clemons, 54, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Feb. 9, on the 3200 block of U.S. 70 and charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. 

Ethan Wallace Brock, 19, of Asheville, was arrested on Feb. 14, on the 2300 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a Schedule I controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a Schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. 

Tyler Scott Tesner, 28, of Swannanoa, was arrested on Feb. 14, on the 2100 block of U.S. 70 and charged with assault on a female. 

Kevin Lee Cannon, 55, of Swannanoa, was arrested on Feb. 15, on the first block of Everett Swafford Drive and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. 

Anthony Su Wayne Robbs, 39, of Rutherfordton, was arrested on Feb. 16, on the 900 block of Old U.S. 70 and charged with violating a domestic violence protective order.
