Incidents
An animal bite was reported on Nov. 29 on the 300 block of West State Street.
An animal bite was reported on Nov. 29 the 100 block of Garwood Lane.
A drug violation was reported on Nov. 30 on the first block of Carolina Heights.
Driving with license revoked and driving with an expired tag were reported on Dec. 1 on U.S. 70.
Driving while impaired was reported on Dec. 1 on the 1900 block of U.S. 70.
Drug violations were reported on Dec. 2 on the 800 block of Montreat Road.
Simple assault and two counts of drug violations were reported on Dec. 2 on the first block of Fortune Street.
Driving with license revoked was reported on Dec. 3 at the intersection of Ashe Street and East College Street.
Larceny was reported on Dec. 3 on the 100 block of Dunsmore Avenue.
Misdemeanor larceny was reported on Dec. 4 on the 1100 block of Old U.S. 70.
Misdemeanor breaking or entering was reported on Dec. 4 on the 500 block of Buckeye Access Road.
Larceny was reported on Dec. 5 on the 200 block of N.C. 9.
Felony breaking or entering - no force was reported on Dec. 5 on the 200 block of Richmond Avenue.
Felony drug offense was reported on Dec. 5 on the 2300 block of U.S. 70.
Arrests
Harry Brad Weaver, 63, of Brevard, was arrested on Nov. 26 on South Blue Ridge Road and charged with driving while impaired and possession of an open container of alcohol in the passenger area of a vehicle.
Kyle James Glenn, 38, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Nov. 30 on the the first block of Carolina Heights and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thomas Livingston Ratliffe, 29, of Seneca, S.C., was arrested on Dec. 2 on the first block of Uphill Drive and charged with second degree trespassing.
Christopher Michael Fields, 45, of Fairview, was arrested on Dec. 3 on the 500 block of Old U.S. 70 and charged with simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
