Nov. 29 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Indecent exposure was reported on Nov. 15 on the 700 block of North Fork Road. 

Felony breaking or entering with force was reported on Nov. 16 on the 2100 block of U.S. 70. 

Larceny was reported on Nov. 19 on the 2200 block of U.S. 70. 

Crime

Arrests 

Kaali Ahmad Tobe, 20, of Old Fort, was arrested on Nov. 13 on I-40 westbound at mile marker 61 and charged with possession of weapon of mass destruction, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Joshua Lynn Peek, 29, of Swannanoa, was arrested on Nov. 13 on the 200 block of N.C. 9 and charged with driving with license revoked and an expired registration. 

Michael Druey Horn, 55, of Marion, was arrested on Nov. 13 on the 300 block of West State Street and charged with writing a simple worthless check. 

Jason Keith Yoder, 44, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Nov. 16 on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with misdemeanor larceny and second degree trespassing.

Nolan Harris Clements, 36, of Asheville, was arrested on Nov. 21 on the first block of Hosta Ridge Way and charged with a protective order violation. 

Jackson Phillip Goodwin, 23, of Asheville, was arrested on Nov. 21 on the first block of Tupper Road and charged with pretrial release violation.
