The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Identity theft was reported on Nov. 1 on the first block of Cheshire Drive. 

Driving while impaired was reported on Nov. 1 on the 500 block of Blue Ridge Road. 

Assault on a female was reported on Nov. 1 on the 100 block of Bee Tree Road. 

Vandalism was reported on Nov. 2 on the first block of Fuse Drive. 

Counterfeiting was reported on Nov. 4 on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Possible rabies exposure was reported on Nov. 4 on the 100 block of Martin Road. 

Counterfeiting was reported on Nov. 7 on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Drug violations and hit and run were reported on Nov. 7 on the 100 block of North Blue Ridge Road. 

A dog bite was reported on Nov. 7 on the 100 block of Eastside Drive. 

Arrests

Rebecca Louise Jones, 27, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 28 on I-40 at mile marker 63 and charged with driving while impaired.

Clifford Louis Martin, Jr., 45, of Old Fort, was arrested on Oct. 30 on the 200 block of Goldmont Street and charged with resisting a public officer. 

Joshua Bryan Parker, 35, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Nov. 1 on the 100 block of Ninth Street and charged with violating a protective order. 

Julie Patton Hollifield, 21, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Nov. 1 on the 500 block of Blue Ridge Road and charged with driving while impaired and resisting a public officer. 

Travis Butler Williams, 26, of Asheville, was arrested on Nov. 2 on the 300 block of Buckeye Cove Road and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, injury to personal property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
