Nov. 8 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.
Incidents
Larceny was reported on Oct. 26 on the 2900 block of U.S. 70.
An animal bite was reported on Oct. 26 on the 100 block of Long Branch Road.
Driving while license revoked was reported on Oct. 27 at the intersection of Grovestone Road and U.S. 70.
Damage to real property and damage to personal property were reported on Oct. 27 on the 100 block of Tabernacle Road.
Driving under the influence, driving with license revoked and driving with no insurance were reported on Oct. 28 on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 63.
Larceny was reported on Oct. 28 on the 600 block of Christian Creek Road.
Identity theft was reported on Oct. 29 on the first block of West Cotton Avenue.
Drug violations were reported on Oct. 29 at the intersection of Access Road and Blue Ridge Road.
Counterfeiting was reported on Oct. 29 on the 500 block of N.C. 9.
A misdemeanor drug offense was reported on Oct. 29 on the 200 block of Old U.S. 70.
Arrests
Samuel Christopher Lee, 24, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Oct. 21 on the 100 block of Mountain Street and charged with driving while impaired and leaving the scene of a hit and run.
Adam Thomas Corey, 31, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 23 at the intersection of Cragmont Road and Blue Ridge Road and charged with possession with intent to sell, manufacture or distribute a Schedule IV controlled substance; possession of heroin; felony possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance; felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance; possession of heroin; simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance; possession of marijuana paraphernalia; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving without an operators license; carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a concealed gun.
Samantha Ruby Meyers, 27, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 24 on the 100 block of Flat Creek Road and charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Hannah Olivia Aubermann, 26, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 24 on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with misdemeanor larceny and resisting public officers.
Kyle Tyler McIntosh, 31, of Burnsville, was arrested on Oct. 24 on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
Eddie Dean Allison, 40, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 24 on the 100 block of Flat Creek Road.
Douglas Bruce Dewberry, Jr., 33, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Oct. 28 on the 100 block of Tabernacle Road and charged with communicating threats and injury to real property.
Tyler Dale Fisher, 20, of Tuckasegee, was arrested on Oct. 31 on the 200 block of Tabernacle Road and charged with robber, common law robbery and possession of stolen goods.
William Nathan Kidd, 28, of Bennett, was arrested on Nov. 1 on the first block of Knox Road and charged with three counts of pretrial release violations.
Raul Edgardo Rodgriguez-Rivas, 30, of Asheville, was arrested on Oct. 31 on the 2600 block of U.S. 70 and charged with misdemeanor breaking or entering and injury to real property.
Robert Edward Lewis, Jr., 35, of Swannanoa, was arrested on Oct. 31 on the 100 block of Jims Branch Road and charged with second degree trespassing.
