Sept. 20 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Larceny of a tag was reported on Sept. 6 on the 100 block of North Avenue.

Burglary was reported on Sept. 6 on the the 700 block of Ninth Street. 

Larceny was reported on Sept. 7 on the 100 block of Outlook Circle. 

Larceny was reported on Sept. 8 on the 500 block of N.C. 9. 

Destruction of property was reported on Sept. 9 the 100 block of North Blue Ridge Road. 

Damage to property was reported on Sept. 10 on the first block of Peaks Road. 

Destruction of property was reported on Sept. 11 on the 400 block of East State Street. 

An animal bite was reported on Sept. 11 on the 200 block of Varden Place. 

Burglary, larceny and destruction of property was reported on Sept. 12 on the 300 block of West State Street. 

Kidnapping and aggravated assault were reported on the 900 block of Montreat Road. 

Arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department reported no arrest from Sept. 1-8.
