Sept. 6 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.
Incidents
Two counts of drug violations, counterfeiting currency, assault on a government official and stolen property offenses were reported on Aug. 23 on the 800 block of North Cherokee Avenue.
Breaking and entering - motor vehicle was reported on Aug. 24 on Charlotte Street.
Motor vehicle theft was reported on Aug. 24 on the 200 block of Davis Drive.
Felony breaking or entering - no force was reported on Aug. 24 on the 300 block of Woodland Drive.
Driving with license revoked was reported on Aug. 25 on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 66.
Larceny was reported on Aug. 25 on the 100 block of North Fork Road.
Driving with license revoked, speeding and driving with an expired tag were reported on Aug. 27 on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 65.
Driving with no insurance, an expired tag, an expired registration and a revoked tag were reported on Aug. 27 on East State Street.
Destruction of property was reported on Aug. 28 on the 600 block of Genesis Circle.
Injury to personal property was reported on Aug. 28 at the intersection of Nesbitt Circle and Old U.S. 70.
Damage to personal property was reported on Aug. 28 on the 500 block of New Salem Road.
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported on Aug. 28 on the 100 block of Burgin Cove Road.
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported on Aug. 28 on the 100 block of Chalmers Way.
Driving with a revoked tag and no insurance were reported on Aug. 29 on U.S. 70.
Arrests
Tracy Carroll Davis, 48, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Aug. 23 on the 800 block of North Cherokee Avenue and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Mark Jeffrey Trewella, 33, of Black Mountain, was arrested on Aug. 23 on the first block of Bartlett Avenue and charged with assault on a female.
