Aug. 16 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Felony breaking or entering with force was reported on Aug. 2 on the 2600 block of Old Fort Road. 

An animal bite was reported on Aug. 4 on the 100 block Old U.S. 70.

An animal bite was reported on Aug. 4 on the 100 block of Nike Drive. 

A felony drug offense was reported Aug. 6 on the 2300 block of U.S. 70. 

Misdemeanor breaking or entering was reported on Aug. 8 on the 300 block of Old Toll Circle. 

Arrests 

Samantha Nicole Davis, 28, of Leicester, was arrested on July 29 on N.C. 9 at I-40 exit 64 and charged with driving while impaired.
