July 5 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Damage to property was reported June 21 in the 200 block of Central Avenue.

Larceny was reported June 21 in the 000 block of Woodland Lane.

Calls for service were received June 22 in the 000 block of Timberpark Drive.

Larceny by employee was reported June 23  in the 200 block of Black Mountain Avenue.

Larceny by employee was reported June 23 in the 500 block of N.C. 9

Damage to property was reported June 25 in the 100 block of Hiawassee Avenue. 

Arrests

Robert Edward Raines, 35, of Asheville was arrested June 16 and charged with injury to personal property, misdemeanor larceny and breaking or entering into a motor vehicle.

Steven Douglas Reynolds, 52, of Black Mountain was arrested June 16 and charged with three counts of embezzlement.

James Terrill Clark, 57, of Black Mountain was arrested June 16 and charged with possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and violating a local ordinance.
