May 31 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.
Incidents
Larceny was reported on May 17 on the 200 block of Eastwood Avenue.
Counterfeiting - buying or receiving was reported on May 18 on the 3100 block of U.S. 70.
Felony drug offense was reported on May 19 on the 2300 block of U.S. 70.
Fighting was reported on May 19 on the 100 block of Fairway Drive.
Larceny was reported on May 19 on the 600 block of West State Street.
Felony breaking or entering with force was reported on May 21 the 2100 block of U.S. 70.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on May 21 on the 500 block of Blue Ridge Road.
Driving with license revoked and motor vehicle theft were reported on May 21 on the 500 block of N.C .9.
Felony drug offense was reported on May 21 on the 300 block of Buckeye Cove Road.
Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, having a fictitious tag or registration card and possession of stolen property were reported on May 23 on the 200 block of West State Street.
Arrests
Joshua Wade O'Neal, 38, of East Flat Rock, was arrested on May 12 on North Fork Road and charged with driving while impaired.
Jeremie Lloyd Konegni, 38, of Black Mountain, was arrested on May 13 on the 1100 block of Old U.S. 70 and charged with assault on a female.
Harry Bruce Balling, 36, of Cocoa, Florida, was arrested on May 13 on the 200 block of Flat Creek Road and charged with resisting public officers.
Daniel Joseph Setzer, 23, of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, was arrested on May 13 on the 600 block of West State Street and charged with three counts of statutory rape.
Brian Lee Anthony, 24, of Black Mountain, was arrested on May 15 on the 800 block of Montreat Road and charged with driving while impaired and having an expired registration or tag.
