April 19 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on April 6 on the 100 block of Last Resort Road. 

A felony drug offense was reported on April 6 on the 100 block of Myrtle Road. 

A felony drug offense was reported on April 11 on the 2100 block of U.S. 70.

Burglary-nonforced entry was reported on April 11 on the 100 block of North Blue Ridge Road. 

Fraud was reported on the 100 block of Tabernacle Road. 

A felony drug offense was reported on April 9 on the 100 block of Montreat Road. 

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported April 11 on the 100 block of Riverwood Road. 

Arrests

Hannah Marie Johnson, 29, of Asheville, was arrested on March 31 at the intersection of Tomahawk Avenue and Laurel Circle Drive and charged with driving with license revoked - not impaired.

Leland Raydean Austin, 48, of Candler, was arrested on April 4 on the 600 block of West State Street and charged with felony possession of cocaine.
