March 15 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these recent incidents and arrests.
Incidents
Vandalism was reported on March 1 on the 100 block of Rush Creek Road.
An animal bite was reported on March 3 on the 100 block of Winter Haven Lane.
An animal bite was reported on March 3 on the 700 block of Buckeye Access Road.
Damage to personal property was reported on March 4 on the 2400 block of U.S. 70.
Larceny of a tag was reported on March 4 on the 2300 block of U.S. 70.
Burglary-with force was reported on March 5 on the 100 block of Patton Cemetery Road.
Assault inflicting serious injury was reported on March 5 at the intersection of Old U.S. 70 and Whitson Avenue.
A misdemeanor drug offense was reported on March 5 on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.
Simple assault was reported on March 6 on the 100 block of Riddle Road.
An animal bite was reported on March 6 on the 200 block of Laurel Circle Drive.
A felony drug offense was reported on March 7 at the intersection of Patton Cove Road and U.S. 70.
Uttering a forged instrument was reported on March 7 on the 500 block of N.C. 9.
A misdemeanor drug offense was reported on March 7 on the 100 block of Patton Cove Road.
Burglary-forcible entry and larceny after breaking and entering was reported on March 7 on the 100 block of Carver Avenue.
Arrests
Eric Jamison Stanley, 35, of Winston-Salem, was arrested on Feb. 28 on I-40 at mile marker 64 and charged with driving while impaired and no headlights or wipers on.
Shamarla Tyrnise Hare, 31, of Black Mountain, was arrested on March 2 on the 300 block of Charles Court and charged with assault on a government official or employee.
