Jan. 4 Crime report

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests Dec. 22-28.

Incidents

Fraud was reported Dec. 22 in the 100 block of Disosway Street.

Larceny was reported Dec. 24 in the 300 block of Genesis Circle

Obtaining money or property by false pretense was reported Dec. 24 on East Fork Avenue.

A dog fight was reported Dec. 26 on West Cotton Avenue.

Felony larceny was reported Dec. 26 in the 100 block of North Dougherty Street.

Embezzlement was reported Dec. 26 in the 300 block of Black Mountain Avenue.

Larceny was reported Dec. 27 in the 100 block of Center Avenue.

Damage to real property was reported Dec. 27 in the 200 block of Avena Road.

Arrests

Alexander Taylor Fitzpatrick, 21, was arrested Dec. 20 on a charge of driving while impaired.

Casey Tyler Foster, 18, was arrested Dec. 23 on charges of felony possession of Schedule VI controlled substance; felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver Schedule VI controlled substance; and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
