Nov. 2 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests.
Felony breaking or entering was reported on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.
Assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and larceny was reported on the 500 block of N.C. 9.
A gunshot wound was reported on the 100 block of Dryid Hill Road.
Larceny was reported on the 600 block of Old U.S. 70.
Possession of stolen goods was reported on the 100 block of North Blue Ridge Road.
Fleeing/eluding arrest, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, expired registration card/tag, fictitious or altered title, tag or registration card and speeding were reported on U.S. 70.
Traffic offenses were reported on the 100 block of Patton Cove Road.
Fraud - credit card was reported on the 500 block of N.C. 9.
Misdemeanor larceny was reported on the 100 block of Eastside Drive.
Fraud was reported on the 200 block of Woodland Court.
Fraud - credit card was reported on the 300 block of West State Street.
Domestic assault was reported on the 100 block of Vance Avenue.
Simple physical assault was reported on the 100 block of Old U.S. 70 East.
Fraud was reported on the first block of Terry Estates Drive.
Dillon Ryan Watts, 27, of Mars Hill, was arrested on the 2900 block of U.S. 70 and charged with assault on a female.
