Oct. 19 Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests
The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests.
Incidents
Oct. 12
An animal bite was reported on the 600 block of Lytle Cove Road.
A dangerous dog was reported on the 100 block of Summer Street.
Oct. 13
An animal bite was reported on the 100 block of Broadway Street.
Breaking or entering - no force was reported on the 100 block of Kimberly Road.
Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Silver Place.
Oct. 14
Larceny was reported on the 400 block of Lytle Cove Road.
Possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and driving with license revoked were reported at the intersection of Richardson Boulevard and U.S. 70.
Oct. 15
Arson was reported on the 100 block of Burning Tree Court.
Oct. 16
Larceny of a tag was reported on the 200 block of Fountain Way.
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported on the first block of Cement Drive.
Found property was reported on the 100 block of Church Street.
Oct. 17
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Dogwood Lane.
Oct. 18
Injury to personal property was reported on the first block of Alpine Shadow Lane.
Misdemeanor breaking or entering was reported on the 100 block of Candlelight Drive.
Arrests
Oct. 13
Christopher Ray Brown, 39, of Greeneville, Tennessee, was arrested on the 100 block of Beechtree Drive and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, no liability insurance and driving with a fictitious or altered registration card or tag.
Jessica Dawn Greer, 30, of Greeneville, Tennessee, was arrested on the 100 block of Beechtree Drive and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
