Swannanoa Valley crimes and arrests as of July 13

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests.

Incidents

July 6

Cyberstalking was reported on the 100 block of Blue Ridge Assembly Drive.

July 7 

Possession of stolen goods was reported on the 100 block of Alan Campos Circle.

July 8

Driving while intoxicated was reported on the 400 block of Laurel Circle Drive.

Misdemeanor breaking or entering was reported on the 700 block of Warren Wilson Road.

Larceny of auto parts was reported on the 2600 block of U.S. 70.

July 10

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Jordan Road.

July 11

Accidental damage to property was reported on the 100 block of Cherry Street.

July 13

Driving while intoxicated was reported on the 100 block of Buckeye Cove Road.

Possession of a a Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia - not marijuana were reported on the 100 block of Old U.S. 70 East.

Arrests

July 3

Aaron Matthew Poole, 29, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 2800 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

July 4

Travis Randall Kennedy, 28, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 200 block of East State Street and charged with driving while impaired.

Zachary Matthew Turner, 44, of Asheville, was arrested at exit 66 on I-40 eastbound and charged with possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

July 7

Jeremy Scott Fender, 28, of Old Fort, was arrested on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with a simple affray.

Steve Michael Galloway, Jr., 48, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 100 block of Carver Avenue and charged with secret peeping.

Zachary Mitchell Clemons, 27, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with simple assault.

Sarah Nicole Randall Clemons, 29, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with assault and battery.
