Incidents

June 8

Burglary nonforced entry was reported on the 800 block of Holly Avenue.

June 9

Felony breaking or entering with force was reported on the 100 block of Jordan Road.

June 10

Obtaining property under false pretense was reported on the 2200 block of U.S. 70.

Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported on the 200 block of New Bern Avenue.

June 11

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance was reported on the 100 block of Old U.S. 70 East.

An animal bite was reported on the 100 block of Park Ridge Avenue.

Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury was reported on the 600 block of Christian Creek Road.

June 12

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Old Patton Cove Road.

Forgery was reported on the first block of Silver Place.

Fraud obtaining money or property under false pretense was reported on the first block of Camp Branch Road.

June 13

Forgery was reported on the 300 block of West State Street.

Arrests

June 5

Rachel Annette Gutierrez, 41, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 200 block of N.C. 9 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

June 6

Joshua Russell Ogle, 32, of Swannanoa, was arrested at the intersection of Blue Ridge Road and Access Road and charged with second-degree trespassing.

June 8

Ricky James Wright, 61, of Asheville, was arrested on the 600 block of West State Street and charged with possession of stolen goods and obtaining property under false pretense.

June 9

Ian Christopher Monley, 29, of Old Fort, was arrested on the 600 block of West State Street for violating a protective order.
