Crime report in the Swannanoa Valley

The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests.

Incidents

May 18

A misdemeanor drug offense was reported on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.

An animal attack was reported on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.

Forgery - using or uttering was reported on the 900 block of Patton Cove Road.

May 19

Disorderly conduct was reported on the 700 block of Old U.S. 70.

Traffic offenses were reported on the 100 block of Myrtle Road.

Larceny was reported on the 200 block of Old U.S. 70.

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 500 block of N.C. 9.

May 20

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 900 block of Patton Cove Road.

Damage to personal property was reported on the 100 block of Red Road.

Possession of stolen goods was reported on the 100 block of Jordan Road.

May 22

Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were reported at the intersection of U.S. 70 and New Bern Avenue.

Damage to personal property was reported on the 100 block of Old Jims Branch Road.

May 23

Felony breaking or entering was reported on the 100 block of Park Ridge Avenue.

May 25

Common law robbery was reported on the 100 block of Dew Drop Road.

Arrests

May 13

Brenden Case Allison, 34, of Flat Rock, was arrested on Blue Ridge Road and charged with driving while impaired.

May 14

Joshua Tyler Klatt, 21, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 100 block of Hiawassee Avenue and charged with resisting public officers.

Joshua Dewayne Correll, 32, of Old Fort, was arrested on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and driving while license revoked - not impaired.

May 18

Misty Dawn Curry, 23, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 100 block of Montreat Road and charged with three county of obtaining property under false pretense.

Ziporah Tatianna Holloway, 22, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 101 block of Pine Tree Drive and charged with resisting public officers.

May 19

David Lewis Mason, 35, of Asheville, was arrested on the 200 block of N.C. 9 and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Jay Hensley, 27, of Black Mountain, was arrested and charged with obtaining property under false pretense and four counts of uttering forged endorsement.
