Incidents

Nov. 24

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Lake Eden Road.

Driving while intoxicated was reported at the intersection of Bee Tree Road and Old U.S. 70.

Breaking or entering was reported on the 100 block of McQueen Parkway.

Nov. 25

Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at a business on the 100 block of Old U.S. 70.

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Tupper Road.

Breaking or entering was reported on the 100 block of Hutchins Road.

Nov. 26

Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia - not marijuana - and providing false information to an officer were reported on the 200 block of N.C. 9.

Nov. 27

Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported on the first block of Alpine Shadow Lane.

Nov. 28

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Cherry Street.

Vandalism was reported on the 2100 block of U.S. 70.

Nov. 29

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of South Park Lane.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Charles Court.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Charles Court.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Linn Garden Lane.

Breaking or entering with force was reported on the 100 block of Martin Road.

Nov. 30

Armed robbery was reported on the 2300 block of U.S. 70.

Damage to personal property was reported on the 100 block of Kenlan Drive.

Larceny of a tag was reported on the 100 block of Riverwood Road.

Arrests

Nov. 22

Dale Ennis Soke, 62, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the first block of Walnut Street and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance, manufacturing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 25

Daniel Patton Johnson, 36, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 300 block of State Street and charged with driving while impaired.

Christopher Patrick Finkel, 22, of Swannanoa, was arrested at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Blue Ridge Road and charged with driving while impaired, unsafe lane change and possession of drug paraphernalia.
