The Black Mountain Police Department and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department reported these incidents and arrests.

Incidents

Sept. 29

Larceny was reported at a business on the 500 block of N.C. 9.

Domestic simple assault was reported on the 100 block of Eastside Drive.

An animal bite was reported on the 100 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Good Loop.

Sept. 30

Disorderly conduct was reported on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.

Fighting - affray - was reported on the 100 block of Lake Eden Road.

Injury to personal property was reported on the 500 block of N.C. 9.

Larceny was reported on the 2200 block of U.S. 70.

Oct. 1

Felony breaking or entering - with force - was reported on the 100 block of Heck Poplar Trail.

Felony breaking or entering - no force - was reported on the 100 block of Patton Cemetery Road.

Criminal damage to property was reported on Padgettown Road.

Oct. 2

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Stonewall Avenue.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 200 block of Buckeye Cove Road.

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Center Avenue.

Oct. 3

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Old Jims Branch Road.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Old Jims Branch Road.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Loch Haven Road.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 100 block of Hiawassee Avenue.

Larceny- shoplifting - was reported on the 100 block of West State Street.

Oct. 4

Violation of preventive measures was reported on the 100 block of Pinetree Drive.

Credit card/ATM card fraud was reported on the 100 block of West State Street.

Larceny was reported on the 200 block of North Fork Road.

Oct. 5

Possession of a weapon on school grounds was reported on the 100 block of Bee Tree Road.

Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were reported on the 200 block of N.C. 9.

Arrests

Sept. 30

Johnna Alexandra Edmonds, 27, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the first block of Sunset Drive and charged with two counts of pretrial release violation.

Oct. 3

Dustin Aaron Wilson, 25, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of Bee Tree Road and charged with felony breaking or entering, larceny after breaking or entering and obtaining property under false pretense.

Melissa Madeline Berretta, 41, of Fairview, was arrested on the first block of Slow Drive and charged with three counts of pretrial release violation.

Oct. 6

Samantha Theresa Renea Preston, 21, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 200 block of Border Street and charged with three counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle.

Lexcine Shevon Smith, 25, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of Lytle Cove Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony probation violation.

Dakota Allen Corn, 24, of Asheville, was arrested on the 100 block of Lytle Cove Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Steven Benjamin Adkins, 36, of Swannanoa, was arrested at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Franklin Road and charged with breaking or entering a motor vehicle, financial card theft and misdemeanor larceny.
