July 8

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported on the 200 block of Midland Avenue.

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported on the 100 block of Hilltop Road.

Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 800 block of Old U.S. 70.

Larceny from building was reported on the 2300 block of U.S. 70.

July 9

Larceny was reported on the 2500 block of N.C. 9.

A felony drug offense was reported on the 100 block of Riverwood Road.

Breaking or entering with force was reported on the 100 block of Martin Road Extension.

Larceny of a truck was reported on Interstate 40 westbound.

July 10

Identity theft was reported on the 100 block of Center Avenue.

Breaking or entering was reported on the 2700 block of Old Fort Road.

July 11

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the first block of Pine Circle.

Larceny was reported on the 100 block of Cavalier Lane.

Larceny from a building was reported on the 800 block of Warren Wilson Road.

July 13

Sell or deliver, or possess with intent to sell or deliver a counterfeit controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia - not marijuana, was reported at the intersection of U.S. 70 and West College Street.

July 14

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 1500 block of Grovestone Road.

Arrests

July 4

Kevin Omar Housen, 22, of Candler, was arrested on the 400 block of West State Street and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana less than half an ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and having an expired registration card and tag.

July 5

Nicole Stephanie Duke, 30, of Asheville, was arrested at the intersection of West Cotton Avenue and Montreat Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.

July 6

Daniel James Brendle, 25, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of Black Mountain Avenue and charged with two counts of resisting public officers, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.

Megan Earwood Pack, 26, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 200 block of N.C. 9 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 8

Sean Aaron Bauer, 36, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of Scenic View Drive on a civil order for arrest.

Alissa Anne McKnight, 37, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of Scenic View Drive and charged with three counts of forgery of instrument.

Marquis Earl Rashad Hurst, 20, of Candler, was arrested on the 800 block of Warren Wilson Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tamika Nicole Cannady, 24, of Asheville, was arrested on the 800 block of Warren Wilson Road and charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessica West, 25, of Arden, was arrested on the 800 block of Warren Wilson Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 9

Cody James Ledbetter, 25, of Weaverville, was arrested on the 500 block of N.C. 9 and charged with providing fictitious information to an officer.

Maxwell Sherman Morris, 23, of Black Mountain, was arrested on the 2200 block of U.S. 70 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

July 12

Stephanie Annette Hensley, 35, of Barnardsville, was arrested on the first block of Lake Eden Road and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

July 13

Joseph Charles Reynolds, 41, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the first block of Sylvester Way and charged with assault on a child under 12.

Joshua Lynn Peek, 27, of Swannanoa, was arrested on the 100 block of New Salem Road and charged with breaking and entering, larceny and obtaining property under false pretense.
