Aimee Leigh to marry Matthew Eric Nichols

Mr. and Mrs. George and Mary Boswell of Black Mountain are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Leigh, to Matthew Eric Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman and Evelyn Nichols of East Flat Rock.

Leigh graduated from Gardner-Webb University with bachelor of science and master of arts degrees. Leigh is currently employed with Asheville City Schools as a high school counselor.

Nichols graduated from Western Carolina University where he received a bachelor's degree in political science and history. He is the co-owner of MrMaple.com, a nursery in East Flat Rock specializing in Japanese maples.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 26 in Hendersonville.
