Betty Lou Kulber celebrates 95th birthday
Many of you remember Betty Lou Kluber, who is turning 95. Her children are hoping that she’ll receive 95 cards for her birthday (her address is at bottom).
After working in the medical field for many years, Kluber retired from Iowa to Black Mountain in 1986 after having raised six children, including Dina Garland of Swannanoa. She volunteered at the Depot in Black Mountain and the VA Medical Center in Oteen.
She attended Swannanoa Valley Presbyterian Church. She was involved in many community activities and gave her time to all in need. She later moved to Kings Mountain to be near another daughter, Barbara Tackett, where she now resides.
Garland would like people to mail cards to Betty Lou Kulber, 1001 Phifer Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
