Playing at home, at Ale House

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Thelston will play a free show at the Black Mountain Ale House on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 7:30-10 p.m. His show is part of a week-long run of shows across WNC promoting his new debut album, released Oct. 8. Thelston is a well-known musician in the Asheville area, performing in bands such as American Gonzos, Afromotive and the Hope Griffin Trio.  His debut album, titled "Andrew Thelston," explores his well-known guitar playing, passionate singing and abilities as a multi-instrumentalist (every voice and instrument on the album is his). He and his wife Jessica moved to Black Mountain from Hendersonville.
