Aaron Price's passion for sacred music is impossible to miss.

Aaron Price and friends perform an Easter concert on Saturday, March 31 at White Horse Black Mountain at 3 p.m. Special guests include singer Shalene Hill and Lisle Gwynn Garrity, who will create a painting in real time during the performance.

Price's  passion for sacred music is impossible to miss. His respectful, innovative interpretations lift the hymnal up from the back of the pew, raising the content of that sacred songbook to its deserved heights.

Price comes from a family of church musicians. He  was classically trained as a pianist and has enjoyed more than 20 years of success as a professional musician - including 14 years as the music director of the West Asheville Presbyterian Church. Price’s experience as a performer, sound engineer, composer and teacher across a broad range of styles informs his interpretations of sacred music, revitalizing our age-old, favorite church songs with the breath of fresh inspiration.

Price is performing at a number of regional listening rooms and houses of worship, playing selections from his new album, "Offering: Hymn Improvisations vol. 1."
