Benefit concert held for Paula Cordell
STAFF REPORTS

Facing serious illness is never easy, but it helps when friends rally around in support. Paula Cordell is fighting hard against cancer with chemo, immunotherapy and radiation, and well-wishers can help defray her medical expenses with a full evening of music at a benefit concert on her behalf at White Horse Black Mountain on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.
The varied lineup includes the original country songs of Swannanoa’s David Cody, the blues-meets-punk stylings of The Dirty Badgers, Yellow Feather’s Americana and the singer-songwriter duo Cat and Crow.
The show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 advance and $12 door. Advance tickets are available at whitehorseblackmountain.com.
