Rock the Taste tickets available for May 11 event

Many of Black Mountain’s finest and most popular restaurants and breweries will be participating in “Rock the Taste,” held this year from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 at White Horse Black Mountain.

This annual culinary event, now 16 years old, is presented by the Black Mountain-Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce to showcase the food available in the Valley.

“The chamber is very proud of the quality and quantity of our local dining options,” chamber executive director Bob McMurray said. “We encourage visitors and residents to know and enjoy the great quality and variety of food options available in the Valley.”

Participants compete in Best of Show, Best Local Dish, Best Dessert, Best Brew and Best Display award categories.

Tickets will be limited to 200, available May 2 at the Chamber Visitor Center or by calling 669-2300. Tickets are $25 advance, $35 at the door (if available).
