Owen's performing arts programs presents "Nunsense"
The Owen High School Performing Arts program, in participation with Samuel French, presents the frolicking, habit-forming musical comedy, Nunsense, by Dan Goggin on Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23.
This is a story about the crazy antics of five nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken Convent. After discovering that 52 of their sisters were accidentally poisoned by their cook, they decide to put on a variety show to raise money for the burials.
The show is filled with song, dance and hilarious one-liners. Under the direction of Lyn Nihart and choral direction of Kati Swinney, Owen High School actresses Khadja Abrams, Josie Davis, Maggie Decker, Bethany Lanning, and Hannah VanGorder bring these zany characters to life.
The performances begin at 7 p.m. on both nights. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be on sale at the door.
